Julia Brière is a multidisciplinary designer who works at the intersection of science, technology, and design. Julia holds a MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art where she focused on material systems, responsive environments, technological experimentation and interactive design. She places a special emphasis on developing new design methods to advance research, techniques and tools across various scales. This dynamic approach helps her identify issues and opportunities, creating solutions that address current needs and anticipate future demands.
Julia's work spans both physical and digital realms. Her expertise in UX/UI design is centered on creating intuitive, user-centric digital experiences that solve complex challenges.
Her previous career in content production and videography informs her design work, enabling her to create interfaces that are engaging and resonate deeply with users. By maintaining a strong focus on both material innovation and digital design, she brings a unique perspective to each discipline, driving forward-thinking solutions with lasting impact and relevance.
Her achievements include earning third place in Pratt’s Material Lab Prize and having her work exhibited internationally, most recently at the London Design Festival and New Designers. Julia's projects have been featured in prominent publications such as Materiom, Material Source, and Metropolis Magazine.
